MUN Pilot for Android
The native Android app for MUN Pilot, written in Kotlin with Jetpack Compose. It signs in to the same Firebase project and obeys the same Firestore rules as the website, so a delegate can switch between app and site mid-conference. Live committee sessions, Agora video, Google sign-in, and in-app updates served from Cloudflare R2. It replaced an earlier React Native app.
Private Client Repository
This software was engineered for a private business or client organization. If you are a hiring manager, technical lead, or potential client wishing to inspect the architecture and code quality, I would be pleased to grant you access or provide a code walkthrough. Please contact me at [email protected].
The Engineering Challenge
Two clients on one database means two chances to get the security wrong, and an app that ships its own backend logic drifts from the website within weeks.
The Solution & Architecture
The app holds no privileged logic of its own. It reads and writes Firestore under the exact rules the website uses, and anything that needs a secret — video tokens, AI assist, notifications — goes through the website's own API routes. The Android folder lives inside the main repository and is split out with its history, so web and app changes land together.
