Floodlit — IPL Redesign
An unofficial redesign of the IPL 2026 website — teams, players, fixtures, results, the points table, news and video — with a full admin panel for editing every one of them. Built on Next.js 16 with GSAP and Lenis motion, Firestore for content, Cloudflare R2 for images and Firebase Auth for a multi-admin sign-in.
Private Client Repository
This software was engineered for a private business or client organization. If you are a hiring manager, technical lead, or potential client wishing to inspect the architecture and code quality, I would be pleased to grant you access or provide a code walkthrough. The Engineering Challenge
The first build read Firestore on every prerendered page, and a single deploy spent the free tier's 50,000 daily reads — on a Firebase project shared with another live site, which went down with it.
The Solution & Architecture
The build now takes one snapshot of the content before it starts and every page renders from that file, so a deploy costs a handful of reads instead of thousands. The admin panel still writes to Firestore, and the scraper that produced the seed data ships alongside so the content can be rebuilt from source.
